Launched in Fall of 1999, ISSUE has earned distinct international acclaim in the high Art, Creative, and Academic worlds. ISSUE is created through an evolving collection of highly acclaimed contemporary artists of diverse mediums. It is our unique collaborative skills with these artists that breeds trust and creative energy, attracting them to ISSUE as their chosen forum for expression.

ISSUE has also created  along with partner David Renard of NetCirculation a nationwide specialty distribution infrastructure from the ground up that has since been adopted as the only acceptable standard currently servicing over 100 publications including Index, Purple, Self Service, French Vogue, and Rebel. ISSUE has also kept certain unique outlets such as the Whitney, Dia Center, Printed Matter, amongst many other museum and specialized bookstores in all 50 states.

Although ISSUE has always chosen to keep a relatively low profile, we have built a very loyal readership, a sell though of above 90% at a circulation of 20,000, and have had tremendous influence on all niche publications, as well as direct impact on design houses such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Prada, and Undercover.
